JGN: High-Speed Wide Area Testbed Network
NICT has been enhancing R&D testbed network “JGN” as an infrastructure of ICT technology development. JGN has a number of worldwide access points which are connected each other with the maximum bandwidth of 100Gbps. JGN provides various network services such as L2/L3 connectivity, IP virtualization resources (virtual routers, virtual machines, and virtual storages), Optical network testbed and SDN/OpenFlow testbed called RISE. NICT ICT Testbed Research and Development Promotion Center will participate in “Data Mover Challenge” which is an event as a part of SCAsia2019, will be held in Singapore from 11 to 14 March 2019 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.
